    5And its thickness was a handbreadth, and its brim shaped like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; it held three thousand baths.

    6He also made ten lavers, and put five on the right side and five on the left, to wash in them; such items as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them, but the sea was for the priests to wash in.

    23And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from one rim to the other; it was round all about, and its height was five cubits, and a line of thirty cubits encircled it.

    24And under the brim around it were knobs encircling it, ten in a cubit, encircling the sea all around; the knobs were cast in two rows when it was cast.

    25It stood upon twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east; and the sea was set upon them, and all their hind parts were inward.

    26And it was a handbreadth thick, and its brim was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; it contained two thousand baths.

    27And he made ten bases of bronze; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits its width, and three cubits its height.

    28And the workmanship of the bases was as follows: they had borders, and the borders were between the ledges.

    29And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the ledges there was a base above, and beneath the lions and oxen were additions of thin work.

    30And each base had four bronze wheels and plates of bronze, and the four corners had supports; the supports were molten beneath the lavers, at the side of each addition.
