6To carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and cut stone to repair the house.
7However, there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
11Now it came to pass, that when the chest was brought to the king's office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to its place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
12And the king and Jehoiada gave it to those who did the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also those who worked in iron and bronze to mend the house of the LORD.
13So the workmen worked, and the work was completed by them, and they set the house of God in its state, and strengthened it.
17And they have gathered together the money that was found in the house of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers and to the hand of the workmen.
4Jehoash said to the priests, 'All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD, including the money of those who pass the account, the money each man is valued at, and all the money that comes into any man's heart to bring into the house of the LORD,
5let the priests take it for themselves, each man from his acquaintance, and let them repair the breaches of the house wherever any breach is found.'
6But in the twenty-third year of King Jehoash, the priests had not repaired the breaches of the house.
7Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest and the other priests, and said to them, 'Why have you not repaired the breaches of the house? Therefore, do not receive any more money from your acquaintances but deliver it for the breaches of the house.'
8The priests consented to receive no more money from the people nor to repair the breaches of the house.
9But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, bored a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar on the right side as one enters the house of the LORD. The priests who guarded the door put in it all the money that was brought into the house of the LORD.
10When they saw that there was much money in the chest, the king's scribe and the high priest came up, put the money into bags, and counted the money that was found in the house of the LORD.
9And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Your servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of those who do the work, who have the oversight of the house of the LORD.
7They gave money also to the masons, and to the carpenters; and food, and drink, and oil, to those of Zidon, and to those of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant they had from Cyrus king of Persia.
14Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD one hundred thousand talents of gold, and a million talents of silver; and of bronze and iron beyond weight, for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and you may add to them.
15Moreover there are workmen with you in abundance, stone cutters and workers of stone and timber, and all kinds of skillful men for every kind of work.
68And some of the heads of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in its place:
69They gave according to their ability to the treasure of the work sixty-one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.

8Moreover I make a decree as to what you shall do for the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that from the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, expenses be given to these men, so that they are not hindered.
2And David commanded to gather together the foreigners who were in the land of Israel; and he appointed masons to cut hewn stones to build the house of God.
44At that time some were appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions required by the Law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites who ministered.
11And they returned an answer to us, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the house that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and set up.
5and he had prepared for him a large room, where previously they had stored the grain offerings, the frankincense, the vessels, and the tithes of grain, new wine, and oil, which were commanded to be given to the Levites, the singers, and the gatekeepers, as well as the offerings for the priests.
6And all those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.
8And whoever had precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
18And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders and the stonecutters quarried them; so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.
5The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all kinds of work to be made by the hands of craftsmen. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day to the LORD?
6Then the chief of the fathers, and leaders of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly.
13And I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah of the Levites; and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah, for they were considered trustworthy, and their task was to distribute to their brethren.
16And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.
71And some of the chiefs of the fathers gave to the treasury of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand two hundred pounds of silver.
20And whatever more shall be needed for the house of your God, which you shall have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king's treasure house.
30So the priests and the Levites took charge of the silver, the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem to the house of our God.
