15Woe to them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? and who knows us?
11The leaders judge for reward, and the priests teach for hire, and the prophets divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? No harm can come upon us.
26Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforehand, that we may say, He is righteous? yes, there is none that shows, yes, there is none that declares, yes, there is none that hears your words.
14The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.
29The secret things belong to the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
9The prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD has truly sent him.
13Then I said, 'Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, the prophets say to them, 'You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.''
14Then the LORD said to me, 'The prophets prophesy lies in My name; I have not sent them, nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision and divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.'
6And he said, 'Hear now my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream.'
14I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your deeds, they shall judge you, says the Lord GOD.
15Also the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
28Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD; None of my words shall be postponed any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, says the Lord GOD.
7Thus says the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, nor shall it come to pass.
3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.
9And it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.
26Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor upon rumor; then shall they seek a vision from the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
27The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled; I will do unto them according to their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
17For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hidden, that shall not be known and come abroad.
10For the LORD has poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers has He covered.
11And the vision of all is become to you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is learned, saying, Read this, please: and he says, I cannot, for it is sealed.
1And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
7Nevertheless, hear now this word that I speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people;
9Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
37Thus you shall say to the prophet, 'What has the LORD answered you?' and, 'What has the LORD spoken?'
3I have declared the former things from the beginning; they went out from my mouth, and I showed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.
9My hand shall be against the prophets who see vanity and divine lies; they shall not be in the assembly of my people, nor shall they be written in the record of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
10And he said to me, Do not seal the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
