5 And the king of the south shall be strong, also one of his princes; and he shall be stronger than him and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore, he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and annihilate many.
39 Thus he shall deal with the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, whom he shall acknowledge and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many and divide the land for gain.
40 At the time of the end, shall the king of the south push at him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and many ships; and he shall enter the countries and shall overflow and pass over.

7 But out of a branch of her roots, one shall stand in his place, who shall come with an army, enter the fortress of the king of the north, and deal against them, and shall prevail:
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise; and another shall rise after them, and he shall be different from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
