15I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my mind troubled me.
16I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
17These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
1In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions in his mind while on his bed. Then he wrote the dream down, and told the sum of the matters.
2Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.
4The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. I watched until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on its feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
5And behold, another beast, a second one, was like a bear. It raised itself up on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said to it, Arise, devour much flesh.
6After this, I looked, and behold, another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it.
7After this, I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and trampled what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.
8I considered the horns, and behold, another little horn came up among them, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.
6Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. In the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.
7The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
8The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come."
19Then I desired to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the rest with its feet.
20And about the ten horns that were on its head, and the other which came up, and before which three fell; even that horn that had eyes and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose appearance was greater than its companions.
21I watched, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them,
22until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
23Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise; and another shall rise after them, and he shall be different from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads the name of blasphemy.
2And the beast I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like a bear's feet, and his mouth like a lion's mouth; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority.
3And I saw one of his heads as if it were wounded to death, and his deadly wound was healed, and all the world marveled and followed the beast.
11Then I watched because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke. I watched until the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.
12As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13I saw in the night visions, and behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before him.
5Also out of its midst came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.
6And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
1And after these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that the wind should not blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.

7And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great trembling fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

16Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given to him; and let seven times pass over him.
15Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold, one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with their four faces.
22Now that horn being broken, and four stood up in its place, four kingdoms shall arise out of the nation, but not with his power.
10As for the likeness of their faces, the four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side; and the four had the face of an ox on the left side; the four also had the face of an eagle.
12In which were all kinds of four-footed beasts of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air.
23And as the king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, 'Cut the tree down and destroy it; yet leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him.
4I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts could stand before him, nor was there any that could deliver from his hand; but he did according to his will and became great.
5And as I was considering, behold, a he goat came from the west across the face of the whole earth, and did not touch the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
3And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on his heads.
1In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar, a vision appeared to me, even to me Daniel, after the one that appeared to me at the first.
6Upon which when I had fixed my eyes, I considered and saw four-footed animals of the earth, and wild beasts, and crawling creatures, and birds of the air.
8And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and the four of them had their faces and their wings.
1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four living creatures saying, Come and see.
7And the angel said to me, Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns.
7Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.
17The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air,
