Deuteronomy 13:1
If there arises among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,

2 And the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them;
3 You shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God tests you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
6 And he said, 'Hear now my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream.'

15 The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet from the midst of you, from your brethren, like unto me; to Him you shall listen;
20 But the prophet, who shall presume to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.
21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not follow or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.
12 If you shall hear in one of your cities, which the LORD your God has given you to dwell there, saying,
13 Certain men, the children of Belial, have gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known;
14 Then shall you inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is done among you;
21 And then if anyone says to you, Look, here is Christ; or, Look, he is there; do not believe it:
22 For false Christs and false prophets will rise, and will show signs and wonders, to seduce, if possible, even the elect.

2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts, 'Hear the word of the LORD.'
3 Thus says the Lord GOD: Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
9 The prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD has truly sent him.
8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners, who are among you, deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.
9 For they prophesy falsely to you in my name: I have not sent them, says the LORD.
11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood lies, saying, I will prophesy to you of wine and strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
33 And when this comes to pass—and indeed it will come—then they shall know that a prophet has been among them.
18 I will raise up for them a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you, and will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.
32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, says the LORD, and who tell them and cause my people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says the LORD.
28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? says the LORD.
25 I have heard what the prophets said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, 'I have dreamed, I have dreamed.'
9 And if the prophet is deceived when he has spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe you, neither listen to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up to you from among your brethren, like unto me; Him shall you hear in all things whatever He shall say to you.
23 And it shall come to pass that every soul who will not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from among the people.
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 And he said to them, Listen, I pray you, to this dream which I have dreamed:
17 But if your heart turns away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
19 But if you turn away and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and worship them;
