Cursed be he who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

3Then he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth: for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on this side; and everyone who swears shall be cut off according to it on that side.
30If there is imposed on him a sum of money, then he shall pay to redeem his life whatever is imposed on him.
22For those blessed by him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by him shall be cut off.
