And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who looked upon her.
16 So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus into his royal house in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
17 And the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
18 Then the king made a great feast for all his princes and his servants, even Esther's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king.
19 And when the virgins were gathered together the second time, Mordecai sat in the king's gate.
8 So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together at Shushan the palace, under the custody of Hegai, that Esther was also brought to the king's house, under the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

5 And said, If it pleases the king, and if I have found favor in his sight, and the matter is right before the king, and I am pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews in all the king's provinces.
3 Then the king said to her, What do you want, Queen Esther? And what is your request? It shall be given to you, even to the half of the kingdom.
4 And Esther answered, If it pleases the king, let the king and Haman come this day to the banquet that I have prepared for him.

4 So Esther's maids and her chamberlains came and told her. Then the queen was exceedingly grieved, and she sent garments to clothe Mordecai, and to take away his sackcloth from him, but he would not accept them.
5 Then Esther called for Hatach, one of the king's chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend to her, and ordered him to go to Mordecai to learn what this was and why it was.
8 If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.
