6And all those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.
1Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity were building the temple to the LORD God of Israel,
15on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month, in the second year of King Darius.

35Also the children of those who had been carried away, who had come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel, twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering to the LORD.
36And they delivered the king's decrees to the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side of the river; and they supported the people and the house of God.
3In the first year of King Cyrus, the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem: Let the house be rebuilt, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let its foundations be firmly laid; its height sixty cubits, and its width sixty cubits;
4With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber; and let the expenses be given from the king's treasury:
5And also let the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought to Babylon, be restored and brought again to the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to its place, and place them in the house of God.
25And weighed out to them the silver, the gold, and the vessels, the offering for the house of our God, which the king, his counselors, his lords, and all Israel present had offered:
15And he said to him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be built in its place.
16Then the same Sheshbazzar came and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and from that time even until now it has been in building, and yet it is not completed.
43On that day they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and the children also rejoiced; so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
11And they returned an answer to us, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the house that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and set up.
12But after our fathers had provoked the God of heaven to anger, He gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and carried the people away to Babylon.
13But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon, the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.
30Thus I cleansed them of everything foreign, and I assigned duties to the priests and the Levites, each to his service,
5and he had prepared for him a large room, where previously they had stored the grain offerings, the frankincense, the vessels, and the tithes of grain, new wine, and oil, which were commanded to be given to the Levites, the singers, and the gatekeepers, as well as the offerings for the priests.
13So the workmen worked, and the work was completed by them, and they set the house of God in its state, and strengthened it.
27Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:
6From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid.
9And on the eighth day they held a solemn assembly, for they had kept the dedication of the altar for seven days, and the feast for seven days.
38If they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and pray toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, and toward the city which you have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for your name:
9Then I gave orders, and they cleansed the rooms; and I brought back into them the vessels of the house of God, along with the grain offerings and the frankincense.
15And to carry the silver and gold, which the king and his counselors have freely offered to the God of Israel, whose habitation is in Jerusalem,
16And all the silver and gold that you can find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem:
39For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the grain, of the new wine, and the oil, to the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests who minister, and the gatekeepers, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
