7 In the third month, they began to lay the foundation of the heaps and finished them in the seventh month.
37 In the fourth year, the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid in the month of Zif:
38 And in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished throughout all its parts and according to all its design. Thus he took seven years in building it.

5 And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of everyone that willingly offered a freewill offering to the LORD.
10 And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel.
11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks to the LORD; because He is good, for His mercy endures forever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.
12 But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers' houses, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy,
17 Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the porch of the LORD. So they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.
16 And the children of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,

7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in its place.
8 Moreover I make a decree as to what you shall do for the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that from the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, expenses be given to these men, so that they are not hindered.
6 To carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and cut stone to repair the house.
9 For on the first day of the first month he began his journey from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.
5 Then the leaders of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin arose, and the priests, and the Levites, with all those whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
6 And all those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.
2 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, arose and began to build the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.
3 At the same time, Tatnai, governor on this side of the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, came to them and said, Who has commanded you to build this house and to finish this wall?

15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day onward, before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
2 But the people sacrificed at high places, because there was no house built for the name of the LORD until those days.
8 Be it known to the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is being built with great stones, and timber is being laid in the walls, and this work is going on rapidly and prospers in their hands.
3 Who is there among you of all his people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel (he is the God), which is in Jerusalem.
11 They gave the money, after it had been counted, into the hands of those who did the work and had oversight of the house of the LORD. They paid it to the carpenters and builders, who worked on the house of the LORD,
16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared from the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was completed.
