15 And the water was used up in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
16 And she went and sat down opposite him a good way off, about a bowshot away; for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. So she sat opposite him and lifted up her voice, and wept.
7 And the angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.
8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, where have you come from, and where will you go? And she said, I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai.
9 And the angel of the LORD said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.
10 And the angel of the LORD said to her, I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude.
11 And the angel of the LORD said to her, Behold, you are with child, and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has heard your affliction.

19 And God said, Sarah your wife shall indeed bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him.
20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I have blessed him and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes he shall beget, and I will make him a great nation.
13 And she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You are the God who sees; for she said, Have I also here seen him who sees me?
14 Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
15 And Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram called his son's name, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
15 And the angel of the LORD called to Abraham out of heaven the second time,
7 And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here I am, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?
12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bore to Abraham:
7 The LORD God of heaven, who took me from my father's house and from the land of my relatives, and who spoke to me and swore to me, saying, 'To your descendants I will give this land,' He will send His angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.
1 Now Sarai, Abram's wife, bore him no children; and she had a maidservant, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
2 And Sarai said to Abram, Behold now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing children. I pray you, go in to my maid; it may be that I will obtain children by her. And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.
