12 And Abraham bowed down himself before the people of the land.
13 And he spoke to Ephron in the hearing of the people of the land, saying, But if you will give it, I pray you, hear me; I will give you money for the field; take it from me, and I will bury my dead there.
14 And Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him,
16 And Abraham listened to Ephron; and Abraham weighed out to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the hearing of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.
17 So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field and the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, which were within all its borders, were deeded
18 To Abraham as a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all who went in at the gate of his city.
19 After this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre, that is, Hebron in the land of Canaan.
20 So the field and the cave that is in it were deeded to Abraham by the sons of Heth as a possession for a burial place.
29 And he charged them, and said to them, I am to be gathered to my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
30 In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burial place.
31 There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah.
32 The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth.
9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron, the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;
10 The field which Abraham purchased from the sons of Heth. There Abraham was buried, and Sarah his wife.
16 And were carried over into Shechem, and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem.
13 For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a burying place from Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.
15 And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before you: live where it pleases you.
16 And to Sarah he said, Behold, I have given your brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is for you a covering of the eyes, to all that are with you, and with all others: thus she was reproved.
19 And he bought a piece of land where he had pitched his tent, from the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for one hundred pieces of money.
32 And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, they buried in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for a hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.
9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, seventeen shekels of silver.
5 My father made me swear, saying, Behold, I die: in my grave which I have dug for myself in the land of Canaan, there shall you bury me. Now therefore let me go up, I pray you, and bury my father, and I will come again.
