And he said to him, Go, I pray you, see if it is well with your brothers, and well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

31 And Joseph said to his brothers, and to his father's household, I will go up and tell Pharaoh, and say to him, My brothers and my father's house, who were in the land of Canaan, have come to me.
32 And the men are shepherds, for their occupation has been to feed livestock; and they have brought their flocks, herds, and all that they have.
6 And he said to them, Is he well? And they said, He is well; and behold, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep.
7 And he said, Look, it is still broad daylight; it is not time for the cattle to be gathered together. Water the sheep, and go and feed them.
33 Now therefore, I pray you, let your servant stay instead of the lad as a slave to my lord; and let the lad go up with his brothers.
34 For how shall I go up to my father, and the lad is not with me? lest perhaps I see the evil that shall come upon my father.
33 And the man, the lord of the country, said to us, Hereby shall I know that you are honest men; leave one of your brothers here with me, and take food for the famine of your households, and be gone:
34 And bring your youngest brother to me: then shall I know that you are not spies, but that you are honest men: so will I deliver you your brother, and you shall trade in the land.
30 And he returned to his brothers, and said, The child is not; and I, where shall I go?

38 And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he alone is left: if harm befalls him on the journey in which you go, then you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.
2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought their evil report to their father.
13 Take also your brother, and arise, go again to the man:
14 And may God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may release your other brother and Benjamin. If I am bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.
9 Go now to the flock, and bring me from there two good young goats; and I will make them savory food for your father, such as he loves:
25 And our father said, Go again, and buy us a little food.
4 And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field to his flock,
