18Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
21Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat meat.
22For I did not speak to your fathers, nor command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
4For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; nor shall evil dwell with you.
6It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained on Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD.

6This is besides the burnt offering of the month, its grain offering, the daily burnt offering, its grain offering, and their drink offerings, according to their custom, for a pleasing aroma, a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD.
10And if his offering is of the flocks, namely, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring a male without blemish.
31This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that has horns and hooves.

16And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.
16But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
22And Samuel said, Does the LORD have as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.
8And you shall say to them, Whatever man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, that offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
12As for the offering of the firstfruits, you shall offer them to the LORD, but they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet aroma.
