16 For behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal the broken, nor feed what stands still. But he will eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their hooves in pieces.

34 Wail, you shepherds, and cry; and wallow in the ashes, you leaders of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and your dispersions are fulfilled; and you shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the leaders of the flock to escape.
36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a wailing of the leaders of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD has plundered their pasture.
37 And the peaceful habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs; they shall consume; into smoke they shall vanish away.
13 Yet the land shall be desolate because of those who dwell in it, for the fruit of their doings.
14 Feed your people with your rod, the flock of your heritage, who dwell solitarily in the woodland, in the midst of Carmel; let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became food for all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
6 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat; the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

22 And it shall come to pass, because of the abundance of milk that they shall give, he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall everyone eat who is left in the land.
33 And the carcasses of this people will be meat for the birds of the sky, and for the beasts of the earth; and none will fray them away.
4 And on that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall grow lean.
19 And I will bring Israel again to his dwelling place, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied on Mount Ephraim and Gilead.
9 Then I said, I will not feed you. Let what dies die, and what is to be cut off, let it be cut off. Let those that remain eat each other's flesh.
