Jeremiah 26:16
Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets, This man is not worthy to die, for he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.

21Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that you die not by our hand:

15Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, If I declare it to you, will you not surely put me to death? And if I give you counsel, will you not listen to me?
16So Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD lives, who made us this soul, I will not put you to death, nor will I give you into the hand of these men who seek your life.
42And he said to him, Thus says the LORD, Because you have let go out of your hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore your life shall go for his life, and your people for his people.
6Neither have we listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
16Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says the LORD; Do not listen to the words of your prophets that prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie to you.
17Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: why should this city be laid waste?
4Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus says the LORD concerning you, You shall not die by the sword.
13Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, as the LORD has spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

10And it shall come to pass, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, Why has the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
19Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the LORD, and implore the LORD, and the LORD relented of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus we might bring great evil against ourselves.

18But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, As for the words which you have heard;
21And now I have this day declared it to you; but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor anything for which he has sent me to you.
5Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,
39For as the LORD lives, who saves Israel, though it be Jonathan my son, he shall surely die." But not one of all the people answered him.
16As I live, says the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
