16Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will cast you from off the face of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the LORD.
23And they brought Urijah out of Egypt and brought him to Jehoiakim the king, who killed him with the sword and cast his dead body into the tombs of the common people.

19Where now are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?
21And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death; but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid and fled and went into Egypt;
6And you, Pashur, and all that dwell in your house shall go into captivity: and you shall come to Babylon, and there you shall die, and shall be buried there, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies.
27Now therefore, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth, who makes himself a prophet to you?
3For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Why do you prophesy, and say, Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
2And it shall come to pass, if they say to you, Where shall we go forth? then you shall tell them, Thus says the LORD; Those for death, to death; and those for the sword, to the sword; and those for the famine, to the famine; and those for the captivity, to the captivity.
17Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out; and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, 'Is there any word from the LORD?' And Jeremiah said, 'There is, for, said he, you shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.'
3Then Jeremiah said to them, Thus shall you say to Zedekiah:
