8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD'S house.
13 And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the guard was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, 'You are falling away to the Chaldeans.'
15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah to Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.
16 Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says the LORD; Do not listen to the words of your prophets that prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie to you.
27 Then all the princes came to Jeremiah and asked him; and he told them according to all these words that the king had commanded. So they stopped speaking with him; for the matter was not perceived.
14 Then Zedekiah the king sent and took Jeremiah the prophet to him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD; and the king said to Jeremiah, I will ask you a thing; hide nothing from me.
2 Thus says the LORD: Stand in the court of the LORD's house and speak to all the cities of Judah, who come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not omit a word:
62 Then you shall say, O LORD, you have spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate forever.
3 Then Jeremiah said to them, Thus shall you say to Zedekiah:

17 Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken to them, but they have not heard; and I have called to them, but they have not answered.
16 Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read:
4 Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people, for they had not put him into prison.
13 Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, as the LORD has spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
15 Therefore the princes were angry with Jeremiah, and struck him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe, for they had made that the prison.
