Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; You have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no one lives there,

9 Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps, a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

29 And this shall be a sign to you, says the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth under his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem and all its cities, saying,
2 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
10 For I have set my face against this city for harm and not for good, says the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Why has the LORD done thus to this great city?
3 And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring disaster upon this place, which whoever hears of it, his ears shall tingle.
12 Then Jeremiah spoke to all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.
15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, you remnant of Judah; Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If you wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to live there;
8 And I will make this city desolate, and an object of scorn; everyone who passes by it shall be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues.
6 I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passes by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, no inhabitant.
32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
6 For thus says the LORD to the house of the king of Judah; You are Gilead to me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make you a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.
7 They will be desolate among the countries that are desolate, and her cities will be among the cities that are wasted.
9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says the LORD, and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, a hissing, and perpetual desolations.
9 I will make you perpetual desolations, and your cities shall not return: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
2 The Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob, and has not pitied: He has thrown down in His wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He has brought them down to the ground: He has defiled the kingdom and its princes.
