    12All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses strike, and cast them out.

    13Nevertheless the children of Israel did not expel the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites; but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.

  • 3Namely, five rulers of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites who lived in Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baalhermon to the entrance of Hamath.

  • 28But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him, for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you see.

  • 30And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities:

  • 31For you shall pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you shall possess it and dwell in it.
