Then said Micah, Now I know that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.

9And Micah said to him, Where do you come from? And he said to him, I am a Levite of Bethlehem in Judah, and I go to stay where I may find a place.
10And Micah said to him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of clothing, and your food. So the Levite went in.
11And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
12And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
3When they were near the house of Micah, they recognized the voice of the young man, the Levite; and they turned in there and said to him, Who brought you here? What are you doing in this place? What do you have here?
4And he said to them, Thus and thus does Micah deal with me, and he has hired me, and I am his priest.
5And they said to him, Please inquire of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be successful.
6And the priest said to them, Go in peace; your way is before the LORD.
13And they passed from there to Mount Ephraim and came to the house of Micah.
14Then the five men who went to spy out the country of Laish said to their brethren, Do you know that there are in these houses an ephod and teraphim and a carved image and a molten image? Now, therefore, consider what you should do.
15And they turned aside there and came to the house of the young man, the Levite, to the house of Micah, and greeted him.
18And these went into Micah's house and took the carved image, the ephod, the teraphim, and the molten image. Then the priest said to them, What are you doing?
19And they said to him, Hold your peace, put your hand over your mouth and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest. Is it better for you to be a priest to the house of one man or to be a priest to a tribe and a family in Israel?
20And the priest's heart was glad, and he took the ephod, the teraphim, and the carved image, and went among the people.
4And you shall know that I have sent this commandment to you, that my covenant might be with Levi, says the LORD of hosts.
17Then certain of the elders of the land rose up and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying,
35And I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, that shall do according to what is in my heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before my anointed forever.
6And if a Levite comes from any of your towns out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and comes with all the desire of his mind to the place which the LORD shall choose;
7Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, who stand there before the LORD.
10But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests who minister to the LORD are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites attend to their duties.
1The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
10And He has brought you near to Him, and all your brethren the sons of Levi with you: and do you seek the priesthood also?
17And he said, I saw all Israel scattered on the hills, as sheep without a shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
26And now, LORD, you are God, and have promised this goodness to your servant:
13And Micaiah said, As the LORD lives, what my God says, that will I speak.
14And I will satisfy the soul of the priests with abundance, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.
18And the LORD has given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then you showed me their doings.
21And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, says the LORD.
14And Micaiah said, As the Lord lives, what the Lord says to me, that will I speak.
27And they took what Micah had made, and the priest he had, and came to Laish, to a people quiet and secure, and struck them with the edge of the sword, and burned the city with fire.
11And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child served the LORD before Eli the priest.
6Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, so that they may serve him.
16As for me, I have not hastened from being a shepherd to follow you: neither have I desired the woeful day; you know: that which came out of my lips was right before you.
20Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: you who fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

17Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant you your petition that you have asked of him.
9Therefore Levi has no part nor inheritance with his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, just as the LORD your God promised him.
18Neither shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle grain offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
19And he said, Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
