15 But the fountain gate was repaired by Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and to the stairs that descend from the city of David.
14 After this, he built a wall outside the city of David on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, reaching the entrance of the Fish Gate, and encircled Ophel, raising it to a great height, and put commanders of war in all the fortified cities of Judah.
37 And at the Fountain Gate, which was opposite them, they went up by the stairs of the City of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the Water Gate eastward.
38 The other company of those who gave thanks went opposite them, and I after them, and half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the Tower of the Furnaces even to the Broad Wall;
39 And from above the Gate of Ephraim, and above the Old Gate, and above the Fish Gate, and the Tower of Hananel, and the Tower of Meah, even to the Sheep Gate, and they stopped at the Prison Gate.
9 You have also seen the breaches of the city of David, that they are many; and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
5 He also strengthened himself, and rebuilt all the wall that was broken, and raised it to the towers, and built another wall outside, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made weapons and shields in abundance.
26 These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
16 And it came to pass from that time on, that half of my servants did the work, and the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and the armor; and the leaders stood behind all the house of Judah.
