1The Tenth Blow: Death The LORD said to Moses,“I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt; after that he will release you from this place. When he releases you, he will drive you out completely from this place.
24Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said,“Go, serve the LORD– only your flocks and herds will be detained. Even your families may go with you.”
30But Hobab said to him,“I will not go, but I will go instead to my own land and to my kindred.”

18The Return of Moses So Moses went back to his father-in-law Jethro and said to him,“Let me go, so that I may return to my relatives in Egypt and see if they are still alive.” Jethro said to Moses,“Go in peace.”
19Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite,“Why should you come with us? Go back and stay with the new king, for you are a foreigner and an exile from your own country.
20It seems like you arrived just yesterday. Today should I make you wander around by going with us? I go where I must go. But as for you, go back and take your men with you. May genuine loyal love protect you!”
17You are still exalting yourself against my people by not releasing them.
27But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to release them.
28Pharaoh said to him,“Go from me! Watch out for yourself! Do not appear before me again, for when you see my face you will die!”
2But Pharaoh said,“Who is the LORD that I should obey him by releasing Israel? I do not know the LORD, and I will not release Israel!”
8All these your servants will come down to me and bow down to me, saying,‘Go, you and all the people who follow you,’ and after that I will go out.” Then Moses went out from Pharaoh in great anger.
5‘My father made me swear an oath. He said,“I am about to die. Bury me in my tomb that I dug for myself there in the land of Canaan.” Now let me go and bury my father; then I will return.’”
6So Pharaoh said,“Go and bury your father, just as he made you swear to do.”
11No! Go, you men only, and serve the LORD, for that is what you want.” Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh’s presence.
18So Pharaoh summoned Abram and said,“What is this you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?
26Then Absalom said,“If you will not go, then let my brother Amnon go with us.” The king replied to him,“Why should he go with you?”

33“So now, please let your servant remain as my lord’s slave instead of the boy. As for the boy, let him go back with his brothers.
4The king of Egypt said to them,“Moses and Aaron, why do you cause the people to refrain from their work? Return to your labor!”
23And Pharaoh turned and went into his house. He did not pay any attention to this.
18He went on to say,“Why is my lord chasing his servant? What have I done? What wrong have I done?
30Now I understand that you have gone away because you longed desperately for your father’s house. Yet why did you steal my gods?”
18Moses went out from Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD,
27“Let me pass through your land; I will keep strictly to the roadway. I will not turn aside to the right or the left.
