  • 6Occasion of the Letter I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are following a different gospel–

  • 23For as I went around and observed closely your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription:‘To an unknown god.’ Therefore what you worship without knowing it, this I proclaim to you.

  • 5For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake.

  • 7So in all our distress and affliction, we were reassured about you, brothers and sisters, through your faith.

  • 14and not pay attention to Jewish myths and commands of people who reject the truth.
