18For I will not dare to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in order to bring about the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,
8For God is my witness that I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
13For how were you treated worse than the other churches, except that I myself was not a burden to you? Forgive me this injustice!
27Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ so that– whether I come and see you or whether I remain absent– I should hear that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, by contending side by side for the faith of the gospel,
6For even if I wish to boast, I will not be a fool, for I would be telling the truth, but I refrain from this so that no one may regard me beyond what he sees in me or what he hears from me,
13For this reason I ask you not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.
15But I have written more boldly to you on some points so as to remind you, because of the grace given to me by God
23Why Paul Postponed His Visit Now I appeal to God as my witness, that to spare you I did not come again to Corinth.
10As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine will not be stopped in the regions of Achaia.
12that is, that we may be mutually comforted by one another’s faith, both yours and mine.
17The former proclaim Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, because they think they can cause trouble for me in my imprisonment.
20I wish I could be with you now and change my tone of voice, because I am perplexed about you.
