14Peter’s Address on the Day of Pentecost But Peter stood up with the eleven, raised his voice, and addressed them:“You men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, know this and listen carefully to what I say.
5in that our gospel did not come to you merely in words, but in power and in the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction(surely you recall the character we displayed when we came among you to help you).
14He appointed twelve(whom he named apostles), so that they would be with him and he could send them to preach
6we said farewell to one another. Then we went aboard the ship, and they returned to their own homes.
7We continued the voyage from Tyre and arrived at Ptolemais, and when we had greeted the brothers, we stayed with them for one day.
3What we have seen and heard we announce to you too, so that you may have fellowship with us(and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ).

11And Jesus who is called Justus also sends greetings. In terms of Jewish converts, these are the only fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.
19In addition, this brother has also been chosen by the churches as our traveling companion as we administer this generous gift to the glory of the Lord himself and to show our readiness to help.
29but they urged him,“Stay with us, because it is getting toward evening and the day is almost done.” So he went in to stay with them.
