Provision for Priests and Levites The Levitical priests– indeed, the entire tribe of Levi– will have no allotment or inheritance with Israel; they may eat the burnt offerings of the LORD and of his inheritance.

  • 33But the Levites were not numbered among the other Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.

  • 30“Therefore you will say to them,‘When you offer up the best of it, then it will be credited to the Levites as the product of the threshing floor and as the product of the winepress.

  • 14They must not sell or exchange any of it; they must not transfer this choice portion of land, for it is set apart to the LORD.

  • 11and Aaron is to offer the Levites before the LORD as a wave offering from the Israelites, that they may do the work of the LORD.
