8Perpetual Statutes the Lord Spoke to Aaron Then the LORD spoke to Aaron,
2“Tell Aaron and his sons that they must deal respectfully with the holy offerings of the Israelites, which they consecrate to me, so that they do not profane my holy name. I am the LORD.
18saying,“To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”
19I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the Israelites, to do the work for the Israelites in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the Israelites, so there will be no plague among the Israelites when the Israelites come near the sanctuary.”

35This is the allotment of Aaron and the allotment of his sons from the LORD’s gifts on the day Moses presented them to serve as priests to the LORD.

Everyone’s inheritance must be in the place where his lot falls. You must inherit according to your ancestral tribes.
7In this way the inheritance of the Israelites will not be transferred from tribe to tribe. But every one of the Israelites must retain the ancestral heritage.
11and if his father has no brothers, then you are to give his inheritance to his relative nearest to him from his family, and he will possess it. This will be for the Israelites a legal requirement, as the LORD commanded Moses.’”
11Then the LORD spoke to Moses:
2“Speak to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites, and tell them:‘This is the word that the LORD has commanded:
