8The Abundance of the Land of Promise Now pay attention to all the commandments I am giving you today, so that you may be strong enough to enter and possess the land where you are headed,
9and that you may enjoy long life in the land the LORD promised to give to your ancestors and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

1Laws Concerning Manslaughter When the LORD your God destroys the nations whose land he is about to give you and you dispossess them and settle in their cities and houses,
2you must set apart for yourselves three cities in the middle of your land that the LORD your God is giving you as a possession.
3You shall build a roadway and divide into thirds the whole extent of your land that the LORD your God is providing as your inheritance; anyone who kills another person should flee to the closest of these cities.
3I am handing over to you every place you set foot, as I promised Moses.
4Your territory will extend from the desert in the south to Lebanon in the north. It will extend all the way to the great River Euphrates in the east(including all of Syria) and all the way to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.
21so that your days and those of your descendants may be extended in the land which the LORD promised to give to your ancestors, like the days of heaven itself.
22For if you carefully observe all of these commandments I am giving you and love the LORD your God, live according to his standards, and remain loyal to him,
23then he will drive out all these nations ahead of you, and you will dispossess nations greater and stronger than you.
24Every place you set your foot will be yours; your border will extend from the desert to Lebanon and from the River(that is, the Euphrates) as far as the Mediterranean Sea.
9The LORD your God will make the labor of your hands abundantly successful and multiply your children, the offspring of your cattle, and the produce of your soil. For the LORD will once more rejoice over you to make you prosperous just as he rejoiced over your ancestors,
12Promises of Good for Covenant Obedience If you obey these ordinances and are careful to do them, the LORD your God will faithfully keep covenant with you as he promised your ancestors.
13He will love and bless you, and make you numerous. He will bless you with many children, with the produce of your soil, your grain, your new wine, your oil, the offspring of your oxen, and the young of your flocks in the land which he promised your ancestors to give you.
18Do whatever is proper and good before the LORD so that it may go well with you and that you may enter and occupy the good land that he promised your ancestors,
19and that you may drive out all your enemies just as the LORD said.
11When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and gives it to you,
20I also call on you to love the LORD your God, to obey him and be loyal to him, for he gives you life and enables you to live continually in the land the LORD promised to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
1The Covenant Blessings“If you indeed obey the LORD your God and are careful to observe all his commandments I am giving you today, the LORD your God will elevate you above all the nations of the earth.
2All these blessings will come to you in abundance if you obey the LORD your God:
18You must remember the LORD your God, for he is the one who gives ability to get wealth; if you do this he will confirm his covenant that he made by oath to your ancestors, even as he has to this day.
16What I am commanding you today is to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to obey his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances. Then you will live and become numerous and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you are about to possess.
18And today the LORD has declared you to be his special people(as he already promised you) so you may keep all his commandments.
19Then he will elevate you above all the nations he has made and you will receive praise, fame, and honor. You will be a people holy to the LORD your God, as he has said.
2“Give these instructions to the Israelites, and tell them:‘When you enter Canaan, the land that has been assigned to you as an inheritance, the land of Canaan with its borders,
24For I will drive out the nations before you and enlarge your borders; no one will covet your land when you go up to appear before the LORD your God three times in the year.
8I will bring you to the land I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob– and I will give it to you as a possession. I am the LORD.’”
43So the LORD gave Israel all the land he had solemnly promised to their ancestors, and they conquered it and lived in it.
3Pay attention, Israel, and be careful to do this so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in number– as the LORD, God of your ancestors, said to you, you will have a land flowing with milk and honey.
9The Present Covenant Setting“Therefore, keep the terms of this covenant and obey them so that you may be successful in everything you do.
7For the LORD your God is bringing you to a good land, a land of brooks, springs, and fountains flowing forth in valleys and hills,

23You multiplied their descendants like the stars of the sky. You brought them to the land you had told their ancestors to enter in order to possess.
20The Sanctity of Blood When the LORD your God extends your borders as he said he would do and you say,“I want to eat meat just as I please,” you may do so as you wish.
8So now, in the sight of all Israel, the LORD’s assembly, and in the hearing of our God, I say this: Carefully observe all the commands of the LORD your God, so that you may possess this good land and may leave it as a permanent inheritance for your children after you.
18saying,“To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”
13Today he will affirm that you are his people and that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore by oath to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
6Be strong and brave! You must lead these people in the conquest of this land that I solemnly promised their ancestors I would hand over to them.
8If the LORD delights in us, then he will bring us into this land and give it to us– a land that is flowing with milk and honey.
29The Abomination of Pagan Gods When the LORD your God eliminates the nations from the place where you are headed and you dispossess them, you will settle down in their land.
