6And Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the LORD commanded them.
7Now Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.
8The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
2The LORD said to him,“What is that in your hand?” He said,“A staff.”
3The LORD said,“Throw it to the ground.” So he threw it to the ground, and it became a snake, and Moses ran from it.
4But the LORD said to Moses,“Put out your hand and grab it by the tail”– so he put out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand–
19Then the LORD said to Moses,“Tell Aaron,‘Take your staff and stretch out your hand over Egypt’s waters– over their rivers, over their canals, over their ponds, and over all their reservoirs– so that it becomes blood.’ There will be blood everywhere in the land of Egypt, even in wooden and stone containers.”
20Moses and Aaron did so, just as the LORD had commanded. He raised the staff and struck the water that was in the Nile right before the eyes of Pharaoh and his servants, and all the water that was in the Nile was turned to blood.
17You will also take in your hand this staff, with which you will do the signs.”
1So the LORD said to Moses,“See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.
2You are to speak everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh that he must release the Israelites from his land.
3But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and although I will multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt,
4Pharaoh will not listen to you. I will reach into Egypt and bring out my regiments, my people the Israelites, from the land of Egypt with great acts of judgment.
5The LORD spoke to Moses,“Tell Aaron,‘Extend your hand with your staff over the rivers, over the canals, and over the ponds, and bring the frogs up over the land of Egypt.’”
6So Aaron extended his hand over the waters of Egypt, and frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.
7The magicians did the same with their secret arts and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt too.
8The Sixth Blow: Boils Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,“Take handfuls of soot from a furnace, and have Moses throw it into the air while Pharaoh is watching.
16The Third Blow: Gnats The LORD said to Moses,“Tell Aaron,‘Extend your staff and strike the dust of the ground, and it will become gnats throughout all the land of Egypt.’”
9So Moses took the staff from before the LORD, just as he commanded him.
30Aaron spoke all the words that the LORD had spoken to Moses and did the signs in the sight of the people,
9And if they do not believe even these two signs or listen to you, then take some water from the Nile and pour it out on the dry ground. The water you take out of the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.”
9The LORD said to Moses,“Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”
22But the magicians of Egypt did the same by their secret arts, and so Pharaoh’s heart remained hard, and he refused to listen to Moses and Aaron– just as the LORD had predicted.
23When Moses extended his staff toward the sky, the LORD sent thunder and hail, and fire fell to the earth; so the LORD caused hail to rain down on the land of Egypt.
16And as for you, lift up your staff and extend your hand toward the sea and divide it, so that the Israelites may go through the middle of the sea on dry ground.
9So Moses brought out all the staffs from before the LORD to all the Israelites. They looked at them, and each man took his staff.
10The Memorial The LORD said to Moses,“Bring Aaron’s staff back before the testimony to be preserved for a sign to the rebels, so that you may bring their murmurings to an end before me, that they will not die.”
19The magicians said to Pharaoh,“It is the finger of God!” But Pharaoh’s heart remained hard, and he did not listen to them, just as the LORD had predicted.
5The LORD said to Moses,“Go over before the people; take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in your hand your staff with which you struck the Nile and go.
9Moses said to Pharaoh,“You may have the honor over me– when shall I pray for you, your servants, and your people, for the frogs to be removed from you and your houses, so that they will be left only in the Nile?”
8The LORD said to Moses,“Make a poisonous snake and set it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will live.”
9So Moses made a bronze snake and put it on a pole, so that if a snake had bitten someone, when he looked at the bronze snake he lived.
21The LORD said to Moses,“When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders I have put under your control. But I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.
11He did all the signs and wonders the LORD had sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, all his servants, and the whole land,
7Then the LORD spoke to Moses:
