24The LORD appeared to him that night and said,“I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”
2Then I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great, so that you will exemplify divine blessing.
10So she said to Abraham,“Banish that slave woman and her son, for the son of that slave woman will not be an heir along with my son Isaac!”
18After all, Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations on the earth may receive blessing through him.
