6Indeed, I will no longer have compassion on the people of the land,” says the LORD,“but instead I will turn every last person over to his neighbor and his king. They will devastate the land, and I will not deliver it from them.”
12“Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel. Because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, Israel!
10But as for me, my eye will not pity them nor will I spare them; I hereby repay them for what they have done.”
42I will exhaust my rage on you, and then my fury will turn from you. I will calm down and no longer be angry.
9I will certainly punish them for doing such things!” says the LORD.“I will certainly bring retribution on such a nation as this!”

44In spite of this, however, when they are in the land of their enemies I will not reject them and abhor them to make a complete end of them, to break my covenant with them, for I am the LORD their God.
8I will attack them like a bear robbed of her cubs– I will rip open their chests. I will devour them there like a lion– like a wild animal would tear them apart.
11But I will be different now to this remnant of my people from the way I was in those days,’ says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies,
23They will not defile themselves with their idols, their detestable things, and all their rebellious deeds. I will save them from all their unfaithfulness by which they sinned. I will purify them; they will become my people and I will become their God.
25“Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob, and I will have mercy on the entire house of Israel. I will be zealous for my holy name.
9My eye will not pity you; I will not spare you. For your behavior I will hold you accountable, and you will suffer the consequences of your abominable practices. Then you will know that it is I, the LORD, who is striking you.
6Resistance to the Lord through Selfishness“Since, I, the LORD, do not go back on my promises, you, sons of Jacob, have not perished.
11I granted you a king in my anger, and I will take him away in my wrath!
7But I will have pity on the nation of Judah. I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by the warrior’s bow, by sword, by military victory, by chariot horses, or by chariots.”
25For very soon my fury will subside, and my anger will be directed toward their destruction.”
33But I will not remove my loyal love from him, nor be unfaithful to my promise.
38Yet he is compassionate. He forgives sin and does not destroy. He often holds back his anger, and does not stir up his fury.
24Therefore, the Sovereign LORD of Heaven’s Armies, the Powerful One of Israel, says this:“Ah, I will seek vengeance against my adversaries, I will take revenge against my enemies.
11“Therefore, as surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, because you defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable idols and with all your abominable practices, I will withdraw; my eye will not pity you, nor will I spare you.
25I, I am the one who blots out your rebellious deeds for my sake; your sins I do not remember.
20So,” the Sovereign LORD says,“my raging fury will be poured out on this land. It will be poured out on human beings and animals, on trees and crops. And it will burn like a fire which cannot be extinguished.”
