8 I will make this city an object of horror, a thing to be hissed at. All who pass by it will be filled with horror and will hiss out their scorn because of all the disasters that have happened to it.
12 A destructive army will come marching over the hilltops in the wilderness. For the LORD will use them as his destructive weapon against everyone from one end of the land to the other. No one will be safe.
18 Edom will be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns that were around them. No one will live there. No human being will settle in it,” says the LORD.
