35you say,‘I have not done anything wrong, so the LORD cannot really be angry with me any more.’ But, watch out! I will bring down judgment on you because you say,‘I have not committed any sin.’
4But even if it were true that I have erred, my error remains solely my concern!
5If indeed you would exalt yourselves above me and plead my disgrace against me,
6know then that God has wronged me and encircled me with his net.
7Job’s Abandonment and Affliction“If I cry out,‘Violence!’ I receive no answer; I cry for help, but there is no justice.
5I will never declare that you three are in the right; until I die, I will not set aside my integrity!
6I will maintain my righteousness and never let it go; my conscience will not reproach me for as long as I live.

32If you have any words, reply to me; speak, for I want to justify you.

1LORD, you have always been fair whenever I have complained to you. However, I would like to speak with you about the disposition of justice. Why are wicked people successful? Why do all dishonest people have such easy lives?
12Indeed, in truth, God does not act wickedly, and the Almighty does not pervert justice.
10The Exalted God is my shield, the one who delivers the morally upright.
59You have seen the wrong done to me, O LORD; pronounce judgment on my behalf!
1Job’s Confession Then Job answered the LORD:
3With my knowledge I will speak comprehensively, and to my Creator I will ascribe righteousness.
