2“Truly, I know that this is so. But how can a human be just before God?
3If someone wishes to contend with him, he cannot answer him one time in a thousand.
5I would know with what words he would answer me, and understand what he would say to me.
6Would he contend with me with great power? No, he would only pay attention to me.
7There an upright person could present his case before him, and I would be delivered forever from my judge.
8Would you indeed annul my justice? Would you declare me guilty so that you might be right?
3Do you fix your eye on such a one? And do you bring me before you for judgment?
23For he does not still consider a person, that he should come before God in judgment.
14then what will I do when God confronts me in judgment; when he intervenes, how will I respond to him?
2What you know, I know also; I am not inferior to you!
3But I wish to speak to the Almighty, and I desire to argue my case with God.

5For Job says,‘I am innocent, but God turns away my right.
23As for the Almighty, we cannot attain to him! He is great in power, but justice and abundant righteousness he does not oppress.
11If he passes by me, I cannot see him, if he goes by, I cannot perceive him.
10Is it not fierce when it is awakened? Who is he, then, who can stand before it?
8The one who vindicates me is close by. Who dares to argue with me? Let us confront each other! Who is my accuser? Let him challenge me!
5If indeed you would exalt yourselves above me and plead my disgrace against me,
9‘I am pure, without transgression; I am clean and have no iniquity.
7although you know that I am not guilty, and that there is no one who can deliver out of your hand?
21And why do you not pardon my transgression, and take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust, and you will seek me diligently, but I will be gone.”
