17Jesus said a third time,“Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that Jesus asked him a third time,“Do you love me?” and said,“Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus replied,“Feed my sheep.
41Then Peter said,“Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for everyone?”
1Washing the Disciples’ Feet Just before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that his time had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now loved them to the very end.
42Andrew brought Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“You are Simon, the son of John. You will be called Cephas”(which is translated Peter).
15He said to them,“But who do you say that I am?”
