27The Authority of Jesus They came again to Jerusalem. While Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the experts in the law, and the elders came up to him
28and said,“By what authority are you doing these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”
32Jesus stopped, called them, and said,“What do you want me to do for you?”
15But when the chief priests and the experts in the law saw the wonderful things he did and heard the children crying out in the temple courts,“Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant
4But they remained silent. So Jesus took hold of the man, healed him, and sent him away.
5Then he said to them,“Which of you, if you have a son or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?”
15Cleansing the Temple Then they came to Jerusalem. Jesus entered the temple area and began to drive out those who were selling and buying in the temple courts. He turned over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves,
2and said to him,“Tell us: By what authority are you doing these things? Or who is it who gave you this authority?”
25But someone came and reported to them,“Look! The men you put in prison are standing in the temple courts and teaching the people!”
44The one who had died came out, his feet and hands tied up with strips of cloth, and a cloth wrapped around his face. Jesus said to them,“Unwrap him and let him go.”
11But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas instead.
15Then the Lord answered him,“You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from its stall, and lead it to water?
14He found in the temple courts those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at tables.
15So he made a whip of cords and drove them all out of the temple courts, with the sheep and the oxen. He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
12They asked him,“Who is the man who said to you,‘Pick up your mat and walk’?”
8Then the crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to release a prisoner for them, as was his custom.
36When he heard a crowd going by, he asked what was going on.
45Cleansing the Temple Then Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were selling things there,
14Now the herdsmen ran off and spread the news in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.
11Then Jesus entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. And after looking around at everything, he went out to Bethany with the twelve since it was already late.
