12 The Triumphal Entry The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.

2 telling them,“Go to the village ahead of you. Right away you will find a donkey tied there, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.
3 If anyone says anything to you, you are to say,‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.”
4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:
6 So the disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.
7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them, and he sat on them.
8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them,“Why are you untying that colt?”
34 They replied,“The Lord needs it.”
35 Then they brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt, and had Jesus get on it.
36 As he rode along, they spread their cloaks on the road.
37 As he approached the road leading down from the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen:
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
7 Then they brought the colt to Jesus, threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it.
8 Many spread their cloaks on the road and others spread branches they had cut in the fields.
9 Both those who went ahead and those who followed kept shouting,“Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”
11 Then Jesus entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. And after looking around at everything, he went out to Bethany with the twelve since it was already late.
13 He then told his sons,“Saddle the donkey for me.” When they had saddled the donkey for him, he mounted it
27 He told his sons,“Saddle my donkey.” So they saddled it.
15 But when the chief priests and the experts in the law saw the wonderful things he did and heard the children crying out in the temple courts,“Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant
11 Binding his foal to the vine, and his colt to the choicest vine, he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.
10 You who ride on light-colored female donkeys, who sit on saddle blankets, you who walk on the road, pay attention!
21 So Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab.
23 And the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road with his sword drawn in his hand, so the donkey turned aside from the road and went into the field. But Balaam beat the donkey, to make her turn back to the road.
27 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she crouched down under Balaam. Then Balaam was angry, and he beat his donkey with a staff.
39 For I tell you, you will not see me from now until you say,‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
26 He replied,“My lord the king, my servant deceived me! I said,‘Let me get my donkey saddled so that I can ride on it and go with the king,’ for I am lame.
7 When he sees chariots, teams of horses, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, he must be alert, very alert.”
17 This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:
24 She saddled the donkey and told her servant,“Lead on. Do not stop unless I say so.”
