Moses’ Complaint to the Lord Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and when the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly, Moses was also displeased.

  • 22The Assurance of Deliverance Moses returned to the LORD, and said,“Lord, why have you caused trouble for this people? Why did you ever send me?

  • 20but a whole month, until it comes out your nostrils and makes you sick, because you have despised the LORD who is among you and have wept before him, saying,“Why did we ever come out of Egypt?”’”

  • 16In the camp they resented Moses, and Aaron, the LORD’s holy priest.

  • 8At Horeb you provoked him and he was angry enough with you to destroy you.

  • 6Just then one of the Israelites came and brought to his brothers a Midianite woman in the plain view of Moses and of the whole community of the Israelites, while they were weeping at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
