But Moses sought the favor of the LORD his God and said,“O LORD, why does your anger burn against your people, whom you have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

  • 15 Moses was very angry, and he said to the LORD,“Have no respect for their offering! I have not taken so much as one donkey from them, nor have I harmed any one of them!”

  • 7 Then the people came to Moses and said,“We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you. Pray to the LORD that he would take away the snakes from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

  • 11 and they said to Moses,“Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the desert? What in the world have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?

  • 15 But if you are going to deal with me like this, then kill me immediately. If I have found favor in your sight then do not let me see my trouble.”

  • 12 Moses said to the LORD,“See, you have been saying to me,‘Bring this people up,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. But you said,‘I know you by name, and also you have found favor in my sight.’

  • 19 Please forgive the iniquity of this people according to your great loyal love, just as you have forgiven this people from Egypt even until now.”

  • 3 So Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh and told him,“This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has said:‘How long do you refuse to humble yourself before me? Release my people so that they may serve me!

  • 8 All these your servants will come down to me and bow down to me, saying,‘Go, you and all the people who follow you,’ and after that I will go out.” Then Moses went out from Pharaoh in great anger.

  • 20 The LORD was also angry enough at Aaron to kill him, but at that time I prayed for him too.

  • 16 Then Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you!

  • 7 The LORD spoke to Moses:“Go quickly, descend, because your people, whom you brought up from the land of Egypt, have acted corruptly.

  • 3 (Now the LORD granted the people favor with the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, respected by Pharaoh’s servants and by the Egyptian people.)

  • 41 But Moses said,“Why are you now transgressing the commandment of the LORD? It will not succeed!

  • 13 Then Moses cried to the LORD,“Heal her now, O God.”

  • 1 The Tenth Blow: Death The LORD said to Moses,“I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt; after that he will release you from this place. When he releases you, he will drive you out completely from this place.

  • 22 Moreover, you continued to provoke the LORD at Taberah, Massah, and Kibroth-Hattaavah.
