1The Southern Border of the Land Then the LORD spoke to Moses:
2“Give these instructions to the Israelites, and tell them:‘When you enter Canaan, the land that has been assigned to you as an inheritance, the land of Canaan with its borders,
3your southern border will extend from the wilderness of Zin along the Edomite border, and your southern border will run eastward to the extremity of the Salt Sea,
4and then the border will turn from the south to the Scorpion Ascent, continue to Zin, and then its direction will be from the south to Kadesh Barnea. Then it will go to Hazar Addar and pass over to Azmon.
5There the border will turn from Azmon to the Stream of Egypt, and then its direction is to the sea.
6The Western Border of the Land“‘And for a western border you will have the Great Sea. This will be your western border.
8from Mount Hor you will draw a line to Lebo Hamath, and the direction of the border will be to Zedad.
9The border will continue to Ziphron, and its direction will be to Hazar Enan. This will be your northern border.
10The Eastern Border of the Land“‘For your eastern border you will draw a line from Hazar Enan to Shepham.
11The border will run down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain, and the border will descend and reach the eastern side of the Sea of Kinnereth.
12Then the border will continue down the Jordan River and its direction will be to the Salt Sea. This will be your land by its borders that surround it.’”
15“This will be the border of the land: On the north side, from the Great Sea by way of Hethlon to the entrance of Zedad;
16Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath, as far as Hazer-hattikon, which is on the border of Hauran.
17The border will run from the sea to Hazar-enan, at the border of Damascus, and on the north is the border of Hamath. This is the north side.
18On the east side, between Hauran and Damascus, and between Gilead and the land of Israel, will be the Jordan. You will measure from the border to the eastern sea. This is the east side.
19On the south side it will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, the river, to the Great Sea. This is the south side.
20On the west side the Great Sea will be the boundary to a point opposite Lebo Hamath. This is the west side.
2Their southern border started at the southern tip of the Salt Sea,
3extended south of the Scorpion Ascent, crossed to Zin, went up from the south to Kadesh Barnea, crossed to Hezron, went up to Addar, and turned toward Karka.
4It then crossed to Azmon, extended to the Stream of Egypt, and ended at the sea. This was their southern border.
5The eastern border was the Salt Sea to the mouth of the Jordan River. The northern border started north of the Salt Sea at the mouth of the Jordan,

10It then turned from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, crossed to the slope of Mount Jearim on the north(that is Kesalon), descended to Beth Shemesh, and crossed to Timnah.
11It then extended to the slope of Ekron to the north, went toward Shikkeron, crossed to Mount Baalah, extended to Jabneel, and ended at the sea.
12The western border was the Mediterranean Sea. These were the borders of the tribe of Judah and its clans.
37Wanderings from Kadesh to Moab They traveled from Kadesh and camped in Mount Hor at the edge of the land of Edom.
22Aaron’s Death So the entire company of Israelites traveled from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor.
23And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom. He said:
3“You have circled around this mountain long enough; now turn north.
34It turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, extended from there to Hukok, touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and the Jordan on the east.
31I will set your boundaries from the Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the River, for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you will drive them out before you.
4to the south; all the Canaanite territory, from Arah in the region of Sidon to Aphek, as far as Amorite territory;
3His kingdom included the eastern rift valley from the Sea of Kinnereth to the sea of the rift valley(the Salt Sea), including the route to Beth Jeshimoth and the area southward below the slopes of Pisgah.
17The rift valley and the Jordan River were also a border, from the sea of Kinnereth to the sea of the rift valley(that is, the Salt Sea), beneath the slopes of Pisgah to the east.
28Next to the border of Gad, at the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, to the Stream of Egypt and on to the Great Sea.
7Head out and resume your journey. Enter the Amorite hill country, and into all its neighboring areas, including the rift valley, the hill country, the foothills, the Negev, and the coastal plain– all of Canaan and Lebanon as far as the Great River, that is, the Euphrates.

14It then turned on the west side southward from the hill near Beth Horon on the south and extended to Kiriath Baal(that is, Kiriath Jearim), a city belonging to the tribe of Judah. This is the western border.
10Ephraim’s territory was to the south, and Manasseh’s to the north. The sea was Manasseh’s western border and their territory touched Asher on the north and Issachar on the east.
7Next to the border of Reuben from the east side to the west side, Judah will have one portion.
40But as for you, turn back and head for the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.”
