2By means of divine visions he brought me to the land of Israel and placed me on a very high mountain, and on it was a structure like a city, to the south.
3When he brought me there, I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a linen cord and a measuring stick in his hand. He was standing in the gateway.
4The man said to me,“Son of man, watch closely, listen carefully, and pay attention to everything I show you, for you have been brought here so that I can show it to you. Tell the house of Israel everything you see.”
5I saw a wall all around the outside of the temple. In the man’s hand was a measuring stick 10½ feet long. He measured the thickness of the wall as 10½ feet, and its height as 10½ feet.
6Then he went to the gate facing east. He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate as 10½ feet deep.
3The speaker went on to say,“This is a curse traveling across the whole earth. For example, according to the curse whoever steals will be removed from the community; or on the other hand(according to the curse) whoever swears falsely will suffer the same fate.”
9Then I looked again and saw two women going forth with the wind in their wings(they had wings like those of a stork) and they lifted up the basket between the earth and the sky.
10I asked the messenger who was speaking to me,“Where are they taking the basket?”

13The LORD’s message came to me a second time,“What do you see?” I answered,“I see a pot of boiling water; it is tipped away from the north.”
1He said to me,“Son of man, eat what you see in front of you– eat this scroll– and then go and speak to the house of Israel.”
2So I opened my mouth and he fed me the scroll.
3He said to me,“Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your belly with this scroll I am giving to you.” So I ate it, and it was sweet like honey in my mouth.
5I looked up and saw a man clothed in linen; around his waist was a belt made of gold from Ufaz.
4Then I perceived that the glory of the God of Israel was there, as in the vision I had seen earlier in the valley.
2The width of the entrance was 17½ feet, and the sides of the entrance were 8¾ feet on each side. He measured the length of the outer sanctuary as 70 feet, and its width as 35 feet.
2As I watched, I noticed a form that appeared to be a man. From his waist downward was something like fire, and from his waist upward something like a brightness, like an amber glow.
1The Angel with the Little Scroll Then I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun and his legs were like pillars of fire.
2He held in his hand a little scroll that was open, and he put his right foot on the sea and his left on the land.
1God’s Glory Leaves the Temple As I watched, I saw on the platform above the top of the cherubim something like a sapphire, resembling the shape of a throne, appearing above them.
2The LORD said to the man dressed in linen,“Go between the wheelwork underneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with burning coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” He went as I watched.
9The Interpretation of the First Vision Then I asked one nearby,“What are these, sir?” The angelic messenger who replied to me said,“I will show you what these are.”
1The Opening of the Scroll Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals.
2And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming in a loud voice:“Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?”

6He said to me,“Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he led me back to the bank of the river.
4Then he measured its length as 35 feet, and its width as 35 feet, before the outer sanctuary. He said to me,“This is the most holy place.”
16He measured the east side with the measuring stick as 875 feet by the measuring stick.
19He turned to the west side and measured 875 feet by the measuring stick.
15He said to me,“Do you see this, son of man? You will see even greater abominations than these!”
