6Therfore let vs not slepe as do other: but let vs watch and be sober.
7For they that slepe slepe in the nyght: and they that be dronken are dronken in the nyght.

7Be not therfore companions with them.

1Of the tymes and seasons brethren ye have no nede that I write vnto you:

13For this cause take vnto you the armoure of God yt ye maye be able to resist in the evyll daye and to stonde perfect in all thinges.

12and teacheth vs that we shuld denye vngodlynes and wordly lustes and that we shuld live sobre mynded righteously and godly in this present worlde
36lest yf he come sodenly he shuld fynde you slepynge.
30And greve not the holy sprete of God by whome ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempcion.
