17In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

13But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.
8whom not having known you love; in whom, though now you don't see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory--

1Finally then, brothers, we beg and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more and more.
