16don't cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
17that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
7For we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
8Therefore, though I have all boldness in Christ to command you that which is appropriate,
4I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus;
5that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;
6even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
3We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds;
4so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.
11For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established;
12that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.
7But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in your love to us, see that you also abound in this grace.
5for your partnership in furtherance of the Good News from the first day until now;
6being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
7It is even right for me to think this way on behalf of all of you, because I have you in my heart, because, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the Good News, you all are partakers with me of grace.
11To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith, with power;
12that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
9This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;
10so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ;
11being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
25Having this confidence, I know that I will remain, yes, and remain with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,
26that your rejoicing may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again.
27Only let your way of life be worthy of the Good News of Christ, that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;

7so that you became an example to all who believe in Macedonia and in Achaia.
