15The prince of Yahweh's army said to Joshua, "Take your shoes off of your feet; for the place on which you stand is holy." Joshua did so.
3Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, "This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:

3He said, "Throw it on the ground." He threw it on the ground, and it became a snake; and Moses ran away from it.
2Be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain.
3No one shall come up with you; neither let anyone be seen throughout all the mountain; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mountain."
5Exalt Yahweh our God. Worship at his footstool. He is Holy!
6Moses said, "This is the thing which Yahweh commanded that you should do: and the glory of Yahweh shall appear to you."
11and be ready against the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.
12You shall set bounds to the people all around, saying, 'Be careful that you don't go up onto the mountain, or touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.
8Moses hurried and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.
21and so fearful was the appearance, that Moses said, "I am terrified and trembling."
2God spoke to Moses, and said to him, "I am Yahweh;
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2"Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and tell them, 'You shall be holy; for I Yahweh your God am holy.
11Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?"
12He said, "Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain."
20Yahweh came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. Yahweh called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
2Moses alone shall come near to Yahweh, but they shall not come near, neither shall the people go up with him."
1Yahweh called to Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tent of Meeting, saying,
18All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.
14God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM," and he said, "You shall tell the children of Israel this: 'I AM has sent me to you.'"
15God said moreover to Moses, "You shall tell the children of Israel this, 'Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.
1Yahweh said to Moses,
15He said to him, "If your presence doesn't go with me, don't carry us up from here.
5Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
3Then Moses said to Aaron, "This is what Yahweh spoke of, saying, 'I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.'" Aaron held his peace.
18He said, "Please show me your glory."

6Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and fell on their faces: and the glory of Yahweh appeared to them.
8Moses answered them, "Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you."
45For I am Yahweh who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
