  • 13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they didn't walk in my statutes, and they rejected my ordinances, which if a man keep, he shall live in them; and my Sabbaths they greatly profaned. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness, to consume them.

  • 8 The priests didn't say, 'Where is Yahweh?' and those who handle the law didn't know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

  • 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more."

  • 13 He declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments; and he wrote them on two tables of stone.

  • 8 You shall write on the stones all the words of this law very plainly."
