16But those of those who escape shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity.
5They are driven out from the midst of men. They cry after them as after a thief;
6So that they dwell in frightful valleys, and in holes of the earth and of the rocks.
6Therefore a lion out of the forest shall kill them, a wolf of the evenings shall destroy them, a leopard shall watch against their cities; everyone who goes out there shall be torn in pieces; because their transgressions are many, [and] their backsliding is increased.
14At evening let them return. Let them howl like a dog, and go around the city.
10The confused city is broken down. Every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
40They shall also bring up a company against you, and they shall stone you with stones, and thrust you through with their swords.
12The city is left in desolation, and the gate is struck with destruction.

14At evening, behold, terror! Before the morning, they are no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, and the lot of those who rob us.
