44If your people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to Yahweh toward the city which you have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for your name;
45then hear in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
48if they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name:
49then hear you their prayer and their supplication in heaven, your dwelling-place, and maintain their cause;
38whatever prayer and supplication be made by any man, [or] by all your people Israel, who shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
3Yahweh said to him, I have heard your prayer and your supplication, that you have made before me: I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.
17Now therefore, our God, listen to the prayer of your servant, and to his petitions, and cause your face to shine on your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
18My God, turn your ear, and hear; open your eyes, and see our desolations, and the city which is called by your name: for we do not present our petitions before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies' sake.
11Lord, I beg you, let now your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants, who delight to fear your name; and please prosper your servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. Now I was cup bearer to the king.
32Moreover concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he shall come from a far country for your great name's sake, and your mighty hand, and your outstretched arm; when they shall come and pray toward this house:
33then hear from heaven, even from your dwelling-place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, and fear you, as does your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.
34If your people go out to battle against their enemies, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to you toward this city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name;
35then hear from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
15Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive, to the prayer that is made in this place.

8I cried to you, Yahweh. To Yahweh I made supplication:
33When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you; if they turn again to you, and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house:
18What can David [say] yet more to you concerning the honor which is done to your servant? for you know your servant.
19Yahweh, for your servant's sake, and according to your own heart, have you worked all this greatness, to make known all [these] great things.
6Hear, Yahweh, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions.
1> Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.
23Now, Yahweh, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, be established forever, and do as you have spoken.
2Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, When I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
