3I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.

11For behold, this same thing, that you were made sorry in a godly way, what earnest care it worked in you. Yes, what defense, indignation, fear, longing, zeal, and vengeance! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in the matter.
14I don't write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.
15For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Gospel.
7and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.
4For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made sorry, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.
2You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
19My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you--
